Göltzschtalbrücke, [ERBAUT 1846-1851.]

Die Höhe beträgt von der Sohle des Flusses bis zur
Schienenlage 78,25 m. Von dem tiefsten Punkte des Brücken grundes ca. 92 m. Länge 578 m. Verwendet wurden dazu unter anderem 151 244 kubikmeter Sandsteine und Granit-quader. 48 525 Meter Bruchsteine, 20 Millionen Ziegel. Beschäftigt waren 1500 Arbeiter. Die Kosten der Brücke betragen 6 599621 Mark 62 Pf.

The height is from the bottom of the river to the
Track position 78.25 m. From the lowest point of the bridge- about 92 m. Length 578 m. It used 151 244 cubic meters of sandstone and granite blocks 48 525 meters of bricks, 20 million bricks. 1500 workers were employed during the construction. The cost of the upkeep 6 599621 Mark 62 Pf.

Ihr gefällt es in Plauen sehr gut, namentlich im Garten Das Wetter ist prächtig. Heute fahren Mutter und Gertr. wieder nach Chemnitz. Hoffentlich bist Du gesund. Sollst an Gertr. bald mal nach Chtz. schreiben. Arthur ist am Sonntag nach Leipzig gefahren. Vielleicht kommt meine Mutter mit Gertr. nach Dresden.
